- Drilling gas-injection well starts at Yurubcheno-Tokhomskoye field
Eastern Siberian Oil and Gas Company (a subsidiary of Rosneft) has started drilling the first gas-injection well at Yurubcheno-Tokhomskoye field. During two years five wells will be drilled for injection of associated petroleum gas into the formation. Projected depth of each will be up to 3 thousand meters.

- Laboratory Studies Confirm High Quality of Oil of Pobeda Field
Research workers of the corporate TomskNIPIneft institute finalized the studies on the physical and chemical properties and composition of oil produced from the Universitetskaya-1 well drilled in the Kara Sea, which discovered a new arctic field named Pobeda. The results of the studies were presented to Rosneft Head Igor Sechin at a meeting in TomskNIPIneft.
