- RN–Aero Demonstrates Strong Results in Six Months of 2014
RN-Aero (Rosneft subsidiary) is boosting the geographic reach of its operation and increases fuel realization capacities. RN-Aero holds a leading position in the Russian Federation by volume sales of aviation fuel according to the 1st half of 2014 results. The volume of aviation fuel sales on domestic market by the end the 1st half of 2014 reached almost 1.5 mln tons (about 687 thousand tons in the same period of 2013).

- Fifth anniversary of commercial oil production start on Vankor field
The commercial production of Vankor oil, gas and condensate field started on September 21, 2009. In the period of five years more than 85 mln tons of oil and condensate were produced here. At the moment daily production exceeds 60 thousand tons of oil.

18th of August, Rosneft together with Norwegian company Statoil Petroleum AS started exploration operations at the Pingvin License PL713prospect in the Norwegian section of the Barents Sea.

- Rosneft increases oil production at Tuapse refinery
As part of works on finishing construction of Tikhoretsk-Tuapse-2 long-distance pipeline, including building of the engineer protection equipment on mountain tract of the pipeline and on the head tract of the pipeline, after finalizing a complex under oil test, the crude charge to Tuapse refinery on 0-185 km site has been commenced, in accordance with the project.

- Kara-Summer 2014 Arctic Field Expedition Started
The research and development expedition to investigate ice and metocean conditions in the Russian arctic organized by The Arctic Research and Design Center (the Rosneft and ExxonMobil JV) with the support of Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute experts has started in the White sea. Scientific research vessel Akademik Tryoshnikov departed the Arkhangelsk port to move along the route from the Kara Sea to the Chukchee Sea, virtually along the whole of the Russian Arctic coast.
