- Rosneft and Sevmorneftegeofizika sign agreement to explore Tuapse Trough
Rosneft CEO Eduard Khudaynatov and Sevmorneftegeofizika CEO Konstantin Dolgunov in a ceremony attended by the Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin signed an agreement to conduct seismic exploration in the Black Sea. The document providing for 3D seismic exploration of the Tuapse license block to be carried out by Sevmorneftegeofizika was signed as part of the Sochi Investment Forum.

The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of Rosneft was held on June 10, 2011 in Krasnodar. Holders of 97.39% of Rosneft shares registered to participate in the meeting. The meeting approved the Annual Report, the Accounting Statements and the distribution of net profit of Rosneft for 2010.

- Rosneft Obtains License to Explore the Naulskoye Field in the Nenets Autonomous District
Rosneft acquired a license to explore the Naulsk oil fields, located in the Nenets Autonomous District. The Company paid RUB 3.6 billion for the license at auction.

In January 2011, OJSC Rosneft Oil Company and BP signed agreements regarding strategic cooperation and an exchange of shares between the two companies. In February, in response to a demand by ARR referring to the shareholders’ agreement between BP and TNK, the High Court of Justice in London issued an injunction halting completion of these deals.

- Rosneft increases exchange trading of petroleum products
Rosneft sold 271,600 tonnes of petroleum products on the Saint Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange during February 2011 for 5.5 billion rubles. Sales on the Exchange represented 22.5% of total domestic sales of petroleum products by the Company during the month.
