35 years of commercial operation of the Krasnoleninsk field
RN-Nyaganneftegaz, subsidiary of Rosneft, celebrates 35 years of commercial operation of the Krasnoleninsk field. During this period over 180 million tons of oil were produced, more than 120 million of them were produced on Talinskiy block of the Krasnoleninsk field. According to its features the produced oil refers to Urals brand.
АВС1 + С2 recoverable reserves of the whole Krasnoleninsk field amount to more than 1 bln t. of oil, 75% of which are located at the RN-Nyaganneftegaz licensed areas. Considerable share of tight reserves (Tumen, Bazhenov, Abalack formations) is the distinctive feature of the field.
Currently tight reserves of RN-Nyaganneftegaz form 20% of total amount of Rosneft tight reserves. Major perspectives of the enterprise development are connected with this category of reserves. For this purpose volume of drilling using Russian technologies of tight oil production is being increased.

Notes for editors: RN-Nyaganneftegaz owns Krasnoleninsk field development license. The field consists of Talinskiy, Em-Egovskyi and East Kamennyi blocks. In 2007-2008 the company obtained 4 licensed areas in Timano-Pechora oil and gas province, which are Vostochno-Vorgamusyursky (Nenets Autonomous Okrug), Berganty-Mylsky (Nenets Autonomous Okrug) and the block #2 of the Chernyshev ridge and the Khoreyver Depression (Komi Republic). |
