Igor Sechin participated in the mass dedicated to the death anniversary of Hugo Chavez
The Head of Rosneft Igor Sechin participated in the mourning mass in commemoration of the former President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Hugo Chavez who passed away the very same day 2 years ago. The event took place at the Roman Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of the Holy Virgin Mary in Moscow.
During his address at the mourning ceremony Igor Sechin said: “He remains in our hearts, we all remember about him and about what he has done for Venezuela and for the whole world”.
The basis of partnership between Caracas and Moscow was laid with the personal commitment of Hugo Chavez. Thanks to him the diplomatic, commercial and economic relations between Venezuela and Russia moved to a whole new level.
