Rosneft wins the tender for fueling the aircrafts of Korean Airlines

RN-Aero, a subsidiary of Rosneft was declared the winner of the tender for fueling the Korean Airlines aircrafts at the international airports of Vladivostok and Irkutsk.

Extending of the final jet fuel consumer network is one of the key priorities of RN-Aero. Implementation of this strategy allows the company to increase financial efficiency of its operational activity, while offering optimal conditions of cooperation to the customers.

The contract is signed for one year from 01.11.2015 to 31.10.2016.

Korean Air is among the world’s first top twenty leading airlines in terms of number of passengers.

As of June 2015, Korean Air owned 153 aircrafts performing regular flights to 128 cities in 45 countries, including 12 cities in Korea.

Rosneft operates in the aircraft fueling business through its subsidiary Rosneft Aero. In 2014 Rosneft has become a leader in the Russian market in terms of jet fuel sales with the volume of supplies to consumers in 2014 totaling above 3.4 mln tons of fuel.

Rosneft Aero has an operational control over fuelling stations at the airports Sheremetyevo, Sochi, Krasnoyarsk, Gelendzhik, Anapa, Rostov-on-Don, Abakan, Vladivostok etc. To date, the Company fuels aircrafts “in-wing” at 36 airports in Russia and abroad.
