Rosneft Increases Fuel Supplies to the Russian Market by 6% in H1 2019
Rosneft boosted its supply of motor fuel (Euro-5 gasoline and diesel) to the Russian market by 6% year-on-year in H1 2019, to 14.1 million tonnes. Gasoline and diesel deliveries increased by 4.2% and 7.8%, respectively.
From January to June, the Company sold 2.6 million tonnes of motor fuel within the major trading session on the St. Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange (SPIMEX). This is the highest figure among all producing companies on SPIMEX.
Being the responsible stock trading participant, Rosneft sells a significant volume of gasoline and diesel fuels, exceeding the exchange quotas. In 6 months of 2019, the Company’s sales of gasoline and diesel fuel accounted for 22.1% (compared to 10% standard) and 8.2% (compared to 5% standard), respectively, of the total volume of the fuels produced.
The operating activities of the Company in motor fuel sales are primarily focused on satisfying domestic demand.
