Rosneft Team Participates in Moscow Marathon

Employees of Rosneft Oil Company have taken part in the Moscow Marathon 2020, one of the biggest races of Russia that has taken place at the very heart of the capital. The Company’s corporate team has participated in the Moscow Marathon for the seventh time. This year’s race was attended by employees of the Company’s subsidiaries and the management team who started the 42.2 km marathon distance and the 10 km satellite race.

As a socially responsible company, Rosneft gives priority to developing a healthy lifestyle culture and promoting sports among its employees. In 2019, Rosneft won a competition held by the Russian Ministry of Energy among oil and gas companies in “Healthy Lifestyle Culture Development and Promotion of Healthy Lifestyle Standards for Employees”.

The Company also makes a significant contribution to the development of the sports in the regions where it operates by participating in the construction of stadiums and sports facilities, supporting children’s sports and various sports teams.
