Bashneft Air Quality Control System Receives International Accreditation

Bashneft (a subsidiary of Rosneft Oil Company) has its advanced ambient air quality control system accredited according to the international standard ISO/IEC 17025-2019. The system is based on an environmental laboratory that includes two automated ambient air quality control stations.

Control stations using advanced software and hardware are installed in Ufa residential areas closest to the industrial area. The new equipment promptly defines excess of maximum permissible concentration and air chemistry to detect the source of pollution with high accuracy.

The data received on ambient air quality is automatically transmitted to the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The international quality control system accreditation was carried out under the Air Protection Agreement between the Republic of Bashkortostan and Bashneft.
