Rosneft Expands Sales of Trademark Pulsar Fuel

RN-Vostoknefteprodukt, an enterprise of Rosneft Oil Company’s retail network, has been expanding the sales of the trademark Pulsar 95 fuel in the Far Eastern Federal District. Earlier, Pulsar 95 became available in Primorsky Krai, and now the marketing of the fuel with improved characteristics has been launched at key filling stations in Khabarovsk Krai.

Pulsar is produced with advanced equipment and marketed via Rosneft retail network in 31 regions of Russia, from St. Petersburg through Primorsky Krai.

The trademark Pulsar fuel is a result of Rosneft’s programme on upgrading in-house refining and oil depot capacities, primarily designed to improve the consumer characteristics of motor fuels.

The Pulsar fuel contains unique detergents that keep the fuel system clean and reduce sedimentation in gasoline engines. The use of fuel with detergent components increases engine life by maximising the efficiency of combustion of the fuel-air mixture, as well as reducing fuel consumption and exhaust toxicity.

The Pulsar gasoline is fully compliant with the latest requirements stipulated in the Worldwide Fuel Charter, which has been proved with tests conducted in Ludwigshafen, Germany. Pulsar ensures the following:

  • Injectors in direct injection engines are kept 100% clean.
  • Up to 84% of existing sediment on inlet valves are removed in as little as 60 hours of operation (for vehicles with mileage when switching from conventional gasoline to Pulsar).

The results of bench, qualification and laboratory tests showed that the Pulsar motor gasoline meets the most stringent requirements of the world’s car manufacturers for the quality of motor fuels.
