Udmurtneft Increases The Level of Industrial Safety During Tank Repairs

The specialists of Udmurtneft, operated by Rosneft and Sinopec, have successfully tested and implemented a modern monitoring system that controls the temperature and pressure during the repair work of the tank farm, and keeps records of the data received. This technology is aimed at increasing the level of industrial safety.

Udmurtneft pays special attention to the development of modern technologies and digitalization of production. This allows the company to efficiently develop mature fields and remain competitive in the oil market.

The tank monitoring system includes special registration sensors, as well as special software. From wireless sensors installed throughout the entire height of the tank, data on temperature and pressure are transmitted via a radio channel to a repeater and then to a control room. If the limit values are exceeded, the program beeps to alert the operator.

The monitoring system allows you to safely carry out steaming operations on the entire tank farm of the enterprise (95 vertical steel tanks) and can also be used in other technological processes.
