Sports Complex Built with Rosneft’s Support in Yugra
RN-Yuganskneftegaz, Rosneft’s largest producing asset, completed the construction project for the Sports and Recreation Complex in the village of Singapai in the Nefteyugansk district. Funds for the construction of the 1,500 m2 sports facility were allocated under the Cooperation Agreement between Rosneft Oil Company and the Government of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District—Yugra.
Rosneft pays great attention to the support, development and promotion of physical culture and sports. The construction of sports complexes, ice arenas and multi-purpose sports grounds is actively pursued in the regions of operation.
The Sports and Recreation Complex is the first sports complex in Singapai. It was already over 60 per cent full on the day of the grand opening. Thanks to modern technical solutions, such as the transforming grandstand, the multi-purpose sports hall can be used for a variety of sports, such as judo, volleyball, basketball and futsal. The complex will fully meet the sporting needs of the village’s 3500 inhabitants.
