First Charging Station for Electric Vehicles in Buryatia Appears at Rosneft Filling Station
Rosneft has installed the first charging station for electric vehicles at its filling station in Buryatia.
One of the key areas of Rosneft’s retail business is the expansion of its range of customer services. The Company is systematically developing an accompanying service. Nowadays, Rosneft’s filling stations offer not only filling and washing, but also freshly brewed coffee, snacks, shopper’s items and other convenient services.
The charging infrastructure development will allow drivers to charge electric vehicles at Rosneft’s extensive network of filling stations across Russia. The location for the charging station at the Rosneft filling station in Ulan-Ude at 156 Babushkina Street was chosen considering the opinions of electric vehicle owners. The station is capable of charging the batteries of an electric vehicle within 30-40 minutes. The equipment supports various international charging standards (CCS, CHAdeMO and Type2) and is fully compliant with international requirements.
Rosneft’s retail network currently operates charging stations at filling stations in the Moscow, Tver and Leningrad regions, as well as in the Krasnodar Territory.
The project to install charging stations in Buryatia is being implemented as part of cooperation with Rosseti. An agreement to develop charging infrastructure for electric vehicles was signed between Rosneft and Rosseti at SPIEF-2021.
Ensuring high-quality standards of petroleum products and non-fuel services, the Rosneft retail sites network is developing additional services for the convenience of its customers. The Company will continue to further develop the charging infrastructure at filling stations in accordance with demand forecasts and the development of the electric vehicle market.
