Bashneft Supports Construction of Kindergarten in Bashkiria

A new kindergarten for 220 children has been commissioned in the village of Kushnarenkovo in the Republic of Bashkortostan. Bashneft allocated the funds for the construction and technical equipment as part of a cooperation agreement between the Republic of Bashkortostan and Rosneft Oil Company.

The two-storey, 4,200 square metre building meets the latest technical requirements for comfort and safety. Each age group has its own unit with a bedroom, playroom, pantry and changing room. The sports and music halls are fully staffed and the catering and medical units have modern equipment. The playgrounds are covered with injury-free rubber.

Alongside play and recreation, the new pre-school has a rich educational programme. The teaching staff consists of certified professionals.

“The kindergarten will solve an important problem for the village of Kushnarenkovo, which is home to more than 10,000 people. It will relieve the existing four kindergartens, which were already overcrowded,” said Lyudmila Onina, head of the kindergarten.

Bashneft has also helped to complete the construction and equipment of a new kindergarten in the village of Stary Kurdym, Tatyshlinsky district. This pre-school will be able to accommodate more than 50 children, which will solve the problem of having kindergarten places for several settlements with around 2,000 inhabitants. In Ufa, the capital of Bashkortostan, a renovated forestry technical college with more than a thousand students is being prepared for commissioning. Established in 1877 as a surveyor’s school, the forestry college has long been in need of renovation.
