Rosneft, MGIMO and Tsinghua University Agree on Educational Cooperation
Rosneft, the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) and Tsinghua University, one of China’s leading higher education institutions, have signed a cooperation agreement on personnel training during the 4th Russian-Chinese Energy Business Forum.
The agreement provides the Company’s employees with training opportunities in joint educational programmes in such areas as international business in the oil and gas industry; alternative energy, renewable energy sources; management of major oil and gas projects; digitisation, artificial intelligence and new technologies in the oil and gas industry, etc.
The arrangements include joint fellowships, roundtables, meetings and conferences. A joint working group will be set up to implement the Agreement on a parity basis.
Personnel training and development are strategically important tasks of the Rosneft 2030 Strategy. The Company provides its employees with opportunities to continuously improve their professional and personal skills and competencies.
Rosneft’s unified corporate training system covers all categories of employees and areas of the Company’s operations. The training engages lecturers from leading national and overseas universities, as well as educational and consultancy companies. The training programmes are tailored to the Company’s current and strategic objectives.
