RN-Uvatneftegaz Opens Unique Children’s Playground «Yard of Masters» in Tyumen
With the support of RN-Uvatneftegaz (part of Rosneft’s oil and gas production complex), a unique children’s playground has been opened on a pedestrian street in the historic part of Tyumen. The territory was landscaped under a cooperation agreement between Rosneft and the Tyumen region Government.
The playground is called «Yard of Masters» and is designed to introduce children to Tyumen’s craft traditions and the region’s modern professions in a playful way. The new playground is located near the centre for aesthetic education of children «In the House of Burkov».
An interactive carousel in the shape of a compass with images of various craftsmen’s professions and tools used by their representatives became the central object of the playground.
Rosneft focuses on supporting educational, social, cultural and outreach projects for children. RN-Uvatneftegaz financed the construction of children’s playgrounds and the improvement of the Oilmen’s Square in the village of Uvat, Tyumen region. Thanks to the enterprise, one of the city’s largest open-air tournaments and training complexes has been created on the Tyumen embankment.

RN-Uvatneftegaz is one of the largest subsoil users, taxpayers and employers in the southern Tyumen region. Under the existing agreement between Rosneft and the region, the enterprise implements social projects in education, healthcare and sports.
The Centre for Aesthetic Education of Children «In the House of Burkov» is a municipal institution of supplementary education. The centre is located in one of Tyumen’s finest wooden merchant houses in the heart of the historic part of the city on Dzerzhinsky street. More than 30 architectural and wooden monuments have been preserved there. As of 2022, the street became a pedestrian area.
The Centre for Aesthetic Education of Children «In the House of Burkov» opened folklore and theatre studios, vocal ensembles, as well as training in fine arts and board games. Special lessons in drawing, modelling and rhythmic plasticity are organised for children with disabilities. In 2023, the number of children studying at the Center exceeded 1,300.
