About 90 thousand people visited the Rosneft pavilion at the Russia International Exhibition and Forum over the weekend
About 90 thousand people visited the Rosneft pavilion at VDNKh over the weekend of 4-6 November as part of the Russia International Exhibition and Forum.
The exhibition opened on 4 November. For the first three days of its work the territory of VDNKh was visited by about 450 thousand people. Thus, every fifth visitor of the event came to the Rosneft pavilion.
The Company’s pavilion at VDNKh was built according to the customized design project specially developed for the exhibition. Rosneft's large-scale exposition is divided into thematic zones. The pavilion's digital equipment and interactive exhibits tell visitors about the history of the oil industry and the Company, its scientific developments, social and environmental projects.
Certain sections of the exposition are dedicated to business segments (refining, production) and the prospects of the oil industry development - the flagship project of Vostok Oil, the most potent in the modern energy sector. Visitors to the exposition will learn about the Zvezda Shipyard construction project in Primorsky Territory that Rosneft has been implementing since 2016. Civilian vessels of such size and technical complexity are already launched here, which have never been built in Russia before. Thanks to the "timelapse" technology, the video recording of the oil tanker building process can fit into just a few minutes.
The exposition offers visitors a diverse program of performances by artists from the regions where Rosneft operates.
On 6-9 November, the pavilion hosts the Days of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, which is a strategic region for the Company. Rosneft's major entities operate there, including RN-Vankor, Vostsibneftegaz, Slavneft-Krasnoyarskneftegaz, Achinsk Refinery, as well as the Company's service, sales and logistics entities. The presentation of the Vostok Oil project being implemented in the north of the region opened the thematic days of the region.
The extensive entertainment program of the Days of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in the Rosneft pavilion includes performances by Heiro, the Taimyr folk song and dance ensemble of the peoples of the North; Togokon, Evenki song ensemble; and Aina, Evenki throat singer.
Besides, the Company's exposition during these days includes a demonstration of Evenki folk costumes; master classes on beading and creating national Evenki jewelry; playing vargan, the national musical instrument; interactive games and thematic quizzes.
"Such a varied program came as a surprise to us," said Vadim from Sergiev Posad. He and his family came to Moscow on a day off and, having seen the advertisement, decided to go to VDNKh. Julia and Alexander, a married couple that specially came to the Russia Exhibition from Podolsk shared their impressions: "We expected to cover everything in 10-15 minutes, but at first we got carried away by racing simulators, then we passed the "guessing game" tests about oil, and then the girls in national costumes started singing and dancing. We saw out the show, their movements are so fluid and voices are so melodic!" "Besides, we very conveniently had a bite to eat right here, in the Grain cafe," the young man added, smiling.
Visitors to the Rosneft pavilion are also actively interested in the works of Nikolai Kirgizov, a bone carver who talks about the ancient art of bone carving and teaches all comers the basics of artisanship during master classes.
There is a Grain cafe in the Rosneft pavilion, where everyone can drink fragrant coffee, savor a freshly baked pastries or hot dogs, as well as try dishes from the new branded menu: pancakes with different fillings, chicken wings and strips, French fries, pocket bread and much more.
