More than 500 students from 20 Russian universities took part in the Rosneft's Future festival

Krasnoyarsk hosted the Rosneft’s Future festival organized by the Company at the Siberian Federal University (SFU). The event was attended by over 500 students.

Since 2009, Rosneft has been conducting corporate programs for young talents Rosneft's Future to attract talented young people to the Company and form an external talent pool from among graduates of Rosneft Classes and students of partner universities, including those in the Company's core areas of training.

The program is aimed at popularizing engineering and technical specialties, studying advanced technologies and advanced practices of the oil and gas industry, getting acquainted with the Company's corporate culture and values, as well as patriotic education of young people.

In 2023, the festival split in two stages between November 13 and December 3: the qualifying stage - in a remote online format, and the festival of young talents - in a face-to-face format on the SFU premises.

More than 500 students from 20 universities across the country registered to participate in the event. Following a competitive selection process, 100 finalists qualified to participate in the in-person part of the Program in Krasnoyarsk and had the opportunity to complete internships at the Group's Subsidiaries in 2024/25 with the prospect of further employment with the Company.

As part of the festival of young talents, students met with the Company's representatives, attended career guidance master classes, trainings to develop professional and personal competencies, and participated in project activities.

Under the guidance of the Company's experts and SFU professors, the finalist students were divided into teams which worked in the target laboratories of the university to solve cases in 10 core areas of the Company in order to find innovative approaches and solutions to current scientific and technical problems, including: new technologies for storage and transshipment of oil and petroleum products; oil recovery enhancement methods; modern methods of geophysical well research; biofuel technologies; application of immersive technologies (VR/AR) in the oil and gas industry; hydrogen energy sources; repair and maintenance of ships in Arctic conditions, etc.

In order to form the Company's external talent pool and ensure a constant inflow of young specialists with high-quality professional training, a corporate system of continuous education "School - University - Enterprise" was established in 2005.

The first stage of the continuous education system is the organization of Rosneft Classes on the basis of the best educational institutions: schools, lyceums, gymnasiums.

Rosneft Classes focus on providing schoolchildren with quality general secondary education to continue their studies at universities in engineering fields and to find employment with the Company after receiving specialized education.

Today, Rosneft Classes are open in 58 schools located in 21 constituent entities of the Russian Federation, attended by about 2.4 thousand schoolchildren.
