A new polyclinic opened in the suburbs of Ufa with support from Bashneft

A modern polyclinic opened in the suburbs of Ufa, built with the support of Bashneft (part of Rosneft) under the Cooperation Agreement between Rosneft and the Republic of Bashkortostan. The new health care facility will be able to receive 320 patients daily and is designed to serve 12 thousand residents of three nearby settlements.

The polyclinic is equipped with all necessary equipment for examining and providing adults and children, including infants, with primary medical care. The new three-storey building with an area of more than 4.8 thousand square meters accommodates offices of specialists in 12 areas. There are also modern physiotherapy rooms and a day hospital. The facility will operate 12 hours a day in two shifts.

Rosneft is committed to the principles of social responsibility and traditionally pays special attention to creating a favourable social environment in the regions of operation. The healthcare sector is one of the key areas of focus.

Over the last five years, more than 45 medical facilities have been built and reconstructed in Bashkiria with the support of the Company. For example, the "Lubumy Malysh" ("Beloved Baby") inclusion center in Ufa features a successfully operating neurostudio. The Center assists in organizing comprehensive treatment for children from at-risk groups admitted to NICU after birth. Treatment at the center is aimed at preventing the development of various pathologies and disabilities.

The Bashkir oilmen also supported the construction of a medical complex for 500 daily visits in the village of Verkhneyarkeevo, Ilishevsky District. The institution has made it possible to significantly improve the quality and expand the range of medical services provided to the population of the district.

A branch of Children's Polyclinic No. 2, designed for 250 visits per day, opened in the Yuzhny microdistrict of Ufa after major renovation. Before the reconstruction of the polyclinic, parents had to visit medical facilities located in other parts of the city, which created great inconvenience. Bashneft's assistance enabled the medical center's premises to be fully completed and prepared for the admission of young patients.

A new primary healthcare station equipped with modern medical equipment was opened in the village of Starye Turbasly. It serves about two thousand residents from neighboring communities. All premises of the medical facility are adapted for visits by people with disabilities. To organize round-the-clock medical care, the primary healthcare station has a residential module for on-duty medical personnel. Modern polyclinics of modular type opened their doors for the residents of two villages of the Duvansky District.

In the village of Petrovskoye, Ishimbaysky District, a rural district hospital built with the support of Bashneft started operating after a major overhaul. The medical center serves about 5 thousand people living in nine surrounding communities. The hospital has made medical care prompt and accessible to rural residents.
