Rosneft Employees Fulfill Children's Dreams and Create New Year's Atmosphere in Russia's Regions

On the New Year's Eve, employees of Rosneft enterprises across the country are holding charity events and helping fulfill the dreams of children in the regions where the Company's regions of operations. Employees are participating in the corporate campaign «Christmas Tree of Wishes», fulfilling the dreams of children in difficult life situations.

All employees of the Komsomolsk Refinery in Khabarovsk Region took part in filling Father Christmas's bag of gifts. The refinery workers fulfilled the wishes of children from the Khurba village orphanage No. 20. As a return, the children prepared a New Year musical for the oilmen.

The Christmas tree at the De-Kastri oil export terminal was decorated with postcards with the wishes of children from Bogorodsky Orphanage No. 28. Volunteers of the terminal organized a New Year's interactive show and presented gifts to the children. Also children with disabilities from De-Kastri village received sweet treats.

In the Sakhalin Region, Sakhalinmorneftegaz-Shelf employees presented gifts for the development of creative skills: sewing kits, constructors, paints, puzzles and much more to the children of the social rehabilitation center «Lastochka» in the town of Tomari.

In the Irkutsk Region, Father Christmas and Snegurochka delivered gifts from Verkhnechonskneftegaz staff to the Usolsky District Social Rehabilitation Center. The company's Christmas tree was decorated with the children's wishes arranged in the form of stylized mittens. The oilmen in cooperation with the Irkutsk branch of the international organization of disabled people «Stellarium» brought gifts to patients of the regional children's clinical hospital.

Volunteers of Taas-Yuryakh Neftegazodobycha collected wishes of children of the Bagration social rehabilitation center in Irkutsk and arranged them in the form of colorful cards to decorate the enterprise's Christmas tree. The oilmen fulfilled the dreams of 60 children, as well as presented gifts to children from the social rehabilitation center of Lensk in Yakutia.

For the eighth year in a row, RN-Vancor held a good deeds campaign for the wards of the Zabota orphanage in the town of Igarka in Krasnoyarsk Region.

In the Tyumen Region, employees of RN-Uvatneftegaz donated educational games, toys, sweets, stationery, clothes and other necessary items to the wards of the regional social rehabilitation center «Family». The oilmen supported an interactive performance «New Year's Tree» for 300 children of the Uvat District of the Tyumen Region. The Tyumenneftegaz team also sent gifts to children attending hobby groups and training classes at the «Special Child» public organization in Tyumen.

Kharampurneftegaz employees in Yamal sent congratulations and gifts for children from sponsored organizations: Siyaniye Severa orphanage in Isetsky District and Yamalo-Nenets District Children's Home for special kids.

SevComNeftegaz oil workers took part in creating a holiday for 60 young Yamal residents and fulfilled their wishes from letters to Father Christmas.

In Yugra, Samotlorneftegaz volunteers visited Izluchinsk settlement of Nizhnevartovsk district, where children with disabilities from all over Yugra attend boarding school. The oilmen presented gifts to the children and took part in a New Year's performance. Samotlor volunteers also delivered sets of gifts for orphans and children from new regions temporarily residing in Nizhnevartovsk. More than 100 volunteers of Samotlorneftegaz brought gifts and took part in the New Year's Miracle campaign for children undergoing treatment at the Nizhnevartovsk District Children's Clinical Hospital. The enterprise supported the organization of an event for children in Nizhnevartovsk with a rich educational and entertaining program.

Special sets of gifts, tailored to the individual needs of each child, were delivered to the children of the Harmony rehabilitation center in Nyagan from RN-Nyaganneftegaz employees.

Udmurtneft volunteers and representatives of the Chinese petrochemical corporation Sinopec presented gifts to the pupils of the Sokolovskaya boarding school in the Sarapulsky district, and also brought furniture to renovate the leisure area of the institution.

In the Samara Region, a «Christmas Tree of Wishes» with letters from nearly 100 children from foster and low-income families decorated the entrance hall of the Kuibyshev Refinery. The employees of the plant fulfilled the dream of each participant of the action and presented gifts during the New Year's theatrical event at the Center for Social Assistance to Family and Children of Kuibyshevsky district of Samara. Kuibyshev Refinery employees also presented gifts to young patients of the Samara Regional Children's Clinical Hospital named after N.N. Ivanova.

Volunteers of the Novokuibyshevsk Refinery presented gifts for 80 children from the boarding school named after I.E.  Egorov and the educational center for children with disabilities «Above the Rainbow». Together with Father Christmas and Snegurochka the employees of the plant brought skis, skates, trampolines, books, mosaics and many other things to the children.

Employees of the Novokuibyshevsk Oils and Additives Plant fulfilled the dreams of children from the Perspektiva boarding school in the Samara region.

This year Samaraneftegaz team fulfilled the wishes of children from the rehabilitation boarding school named after A.Z. Akchurin in the village of Kamyshla. The gifts include educational games, constructors, and equipment for active winter recreation. Also wards of the «Family» center in Samara received New Year's gifts.

Specialists of the corporate institute in Samara presented more than 30 gifts to children from low-income families.

Volunteers of Syzran Refinery fulfilled 54 children's wishes. Most often the kids asked Father Christmas for sports equipment. Among the unusual wishes is an original painting of a landscape. The painting for the 11-year-old boy was painted by an artist — a plant employee. The children were presented with presents at a New Year's show, which the oilmen were helped to organize by their long-standing social partner — the Syzran School of Arts named after A.I. Ostrovsky.

Orenburgneft employees became magicians for the young residents of the region, as well as for the residents of new Russian regions. Volunteers of the enterprise also organized a festive performance for children of the social rehabilitation center «Rainbow» in Buzuluk. The oilmen presented the institution with a large Christmas tree and decorated it together with the pupils. For children from the sponsored Kirsanovsky orphanage oil workers organized a trip to the cinema with greetings from Father Christmas and Snegurochka. The employees gave sweet gifts to families from the Kursk region now living in Buzuluk.

In the Saratov region, refiners of the Saratov Refinery brought gifts to children of the social rehabilitation center «Return» and the comprehensive social service center of the Gagarinsky district of Saratov, as well as to young patients of the regional children's clinical hospital. Plant workers also conducted an ecological lesson for pupils of Saratov Gymnasium No. 5. Jointly made bird feeders became part of the New Year decoration of the school grounds.

Employees of Ryazan Oil Refining Company fulfilled the dreams of children from a boarding school in Ryazan. Sweet gifts were also given to children from low-income families.

RN-North-West employees helped children from the Kolozhitsa Resource Center in the Leningrad Region and large families in the Arkhangelsk Region to believe in a New Year miracle. An educational game was organized for the children of the social institution, during which the oilmen told them about New Year traditions and the polar bear — the polar master of the Arctic, which Rosneft takes care of and patronizes in zoos across the country.

In the Krasnodar region, the Tuapse Refinery team fulfilled the wishes of children from the Akhtyrsky orphanage. The plant workers also donated electrical appliances and sports equipment necessary for comfortable life of children.

In Moscow, employees of Rosneft's central office, fulfilling the wishes of children from the Christmas Tree of Wishes, sent numerous gifts to family centers near Moscow in Sergiev Posad, Egoryevsk, Kolomna, Vnukovskoye, as well as to social centers in Kondrovo, Kaluga Region, and to families from new regions.

Rosneft oilmen visited families of indigenous peoples of the North who live in remote ancestral lands on the eve of New Year holidays with gifts.

Employees of Kharampurneftegaz in the national village of Kharampur, Purovsky District, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, organized a New Year's holiday with a game and concert program, which included performances by participants of the Energy of Talents corporate festival. The event ended with a festive tea party for all the villagers.

Employees of SevComNeftegas handed over New Year gifts to children of the Dyanki-Koi ancestral community. The children prepared poems and creative numbers for the meeting with Father Christmas.

RN-Purneftegaz volunteers sent 250 New Year presents to the children of forest Nenets. Sweet gifts were delivered to remote settlements and boarding schools.

«RN-Nyaganneftegaz» handed over gifts to indigenous families in Nyagan and in the Oktyabrsky District of Yugra.

The company gives New Year mood to the main cities of the country as well. «Rosneft Christmas Trees» have already decorated the streets of Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kazan. In addition to the Company's traditional New Year's Park on Manezh Square, seven more locations were added in the capital city — streets and places that are significant and loved by the Moscow citizens and guests of the city.

In addition to the Christmas tree in the Northern Capital, an installation in the form of polar bears cared for by Rosneft appeared near the Peter and Paul Fortress. In Kazan, the Christmas tree delights visitors to one of the largest children's parks in the country — «Yelmai».

In the main cities of operations, the Company's subsidiaries decorate public spaces in a festive manner.

The Achinsk Refinery prepared a New Year's town for residents of Achinsk, Krasnoyarsk Region. A fairy-tale territory appeared in the Privokzalny district of the city, where a Christmas tree with bright illumination, figures of Father Christmas and Snegurochka, as well as LED structures — polar bears and openwork arches were installed.

This year, at the initiative of «Orenburgneft», a New Year's town with a Christmas tree is again operating in the Buzuluk Neftyanik Park.

The Corporate Institute in Samara created a festive mood for residents of the city's Volgar neighbourhood. The Blue Diamond spruce 4.5 metres high was planted here during the growing season. On the New Year's Eve, oil workers brightly decorated the symbol of the New Year.

All enterprises of the Company surrounded their senior employees with attention and care. Traditionally, people with disabilities and elderly people living in social institutions are also among the recipients of good deeds of oil workers.
