TNK-Uvat Discovers New Oil Field
Rosneft subsidiary TNK-Uvat has discovered a new oil field, it named Kirilkinskoye. The materials of the operational analysis of oil and dissolved gas reserves have been discussed and approved by the State Commission for Reserves.
The drilling and testing in exploration well 72 of the Kirilkinsk oil pool resulted in an inflow of pure oil at a rate of 5.28 cubic meters/day. The initial oil in place (С1+С2) is estimated at 16.7 mln tonnes, with 5 mln tonnes in recoverable reserves. Geological exploration for further appraisal is scheduled for the next year.
The Kirilkinskoye oil field is located in the Uvat district in the south of the Tyumen region within the borders of the Tamarginsko-Severo-Bolotny licensed block. It will be included into the Protozanovsky hub.

Uvat group of fields is situated in the south of the Tyumen region, 400 km from Tyumen. The Uvat project is operated by TNK-Uvat, consists of 12 license areas and includes over 30 oilfields, most of which were discovered as a result of geological and exploration works of TNK-Uvat. Geologic reserves are estimated at 1.2 bln tonnes of oil, 7 oilfields have been put onstream.
