- Rosneft, HRT and Petrobras Agreed to Study the Possibility of Gas Monetization in the Solimões Basin
Rosneft President, Chairman of the Managing Board Igor Sechin, HRT CEO Milton Franke and Petrobras Director of Gas and Energy Jose Alcides Santoro Martins signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation to study development schemes for a joint monetization of gas in the Solimões Project in the Amazon region.

- Rosneft Brasil and HRT Received ANP Approval for the Solimoes Project Transaction
Rosneft Brasil (Rosneft subsidiary) and HRT O&G (HRT subsidiary) received approval by the Brazilian National Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels Agency (ANP) for the Rosneft Brasil transaction to acquire additional 6% in the Solimoes project. Under the agreement the completion of the purchase and transaction between HRTO&G and Rosneft Brasil shall occur up to 30 days after the regulatory approval.

- Rosneft Acquires Oil Field Services from Weatherford International
Rosneft President Igor Sechin and Vice President of Weatherford International plc. for Russia Lance Marklinger signed an agreement for the acquisition of Rosneft land drilling and workover assets of Weatherford in Russia and Venezuela. The agreement envisages the acquisition of 8 companies (part of the Weatherford group) involved in drilling operations in Russia and Venezuela.

On July 11, Head of Rosneft Igor Sechin and General Director of Union CubaPetroleo (CUPET) Juan Torres Naranjo signed in Havana the Agreement on Cooperation in the Area of Enhanced Oil Recovery at Brownfields.

A previously announced deal of purchasing of 50% share of Camfin, the company holding 26.19% of Pirelli & C. S.p.A. stake is bought in using the funds of pension funds and financial institutions involved on the principles of the project lending with the participation of Rosneft.

- Rosneft Holds Annual General Meeting of Shareholders
On June 27, 2014 Annual General Meeting of Rosneft shareholders was held in Khabarovsk. Holders of 92.9 % of the Company’s shares took part in the meeting. The Meeting approved the Annual Report, Annual Financial Statements, Profit Distribution of Rosneft for 2013.

- Russian President Vladimir Putin holds the Ceremony of Commissioning of the Berkut Platform at the Arkutun-Dagi Field
Rosneft and ExxonMobil within the framework of the Sakhalin-1 consortium put into operation the Berkut platform at the Arkutun-Dagi field having successfully installed topside at gravity base structure. On 27 June the platform was put into operation in the course of video conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin. At that time Rosneft President, Chairman of the Management Board Igor Sechin, ExxonMobil Russia President Glenn Waller, and Exxon Neftegas Limited Vice-President Roger Higham were at the platform.
