Rosneft Begins Fuelling Lufthansa Aircraft
RN-Aero, a subsidiary of Rosneft, has begun into-plane fuelling for leading global airline Lufthansa at Moscow’s Vnukovo airport. This signifies the beginning of practical implementation of an agreement between RN-Aero and Deutsche Lufthansa AG on the provision of aviation fuel for the airline’s aircraft both in Russia and abroad.
By providing aviation fuel directly to end consumers, Rosneft can avoid intermediaries and guarantee uninterrupted supplies. The company’s transparent pricing policy also helps control any increases in airfares. Fuel prices are calculated using a cost formula based on Platts international benchmark assessments. Leading airlines choose RN-Aero for the high level of services, superior quality aviation fuel and comprehensive solutions it provides across the network of airports.
