Rosneft Closed the Acquisition of Bishkek Oil Company
Rosneft closed the acquisition of Bishkek Oil Company.
The framework agreement was signed in Bishkek on February 19, 2014 by Rosneft Head Igor Sechin and General Director of the Bishkek Oil Company Alexander Niyazov.
Rosneft acquires 100% share in the Bishkek Oil Company Group, a leader in the oil products market in Bishkek. Consequently, the Company acquires a retail network in the Kyrgyz capital together with a number of infrastructure assets.
The closing of the deal has enabled Rosneft to occupy a robust market position in the promising Kyrgyz oil products market, enhancing marketing channels for its high value-added products.
