Rosneft and Tomsk Region signed a Cooperation Agreement

Rosneft Chief executive officer Igor Sechin and Governor of the Tomsk Region Sergey Zhvachkin signed a Cooperation Agreement during the XX St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

The document provides for interaction between the Parties in implementing the programs that support comprehensive development of the Tomsk Region as well as the creation of economic, legal, and administrative environment for the Company's business in the region.

Rosneft and the Tomsk Region have agreed to cooperate in the development of mineral resources and sustainable use of natural resources, environmental protection, promotion of investment and innovations, and development of social and economic programs.

Also, the Agreement is aimed at providing consumers with high-quality petroleum products in the Tomsk Region and cooperation of the Parties in the field of energy saving and energy efficiency.

In the Tomsk Region, Rosneft's subsidiary Tomsknefteprodukt sells motor fuel at 41 gas stations / retail sites. All motor fuels comply with the highest environmental standards Euro 5.

Rosneft actively develops the product range of its retail network which is already characterized by high-quality fuel with a multi-stage quality control system and developed non-fuel offer. The Company creates new products and services to improve the dialog with the consumer.

In the Tomsk Region, Tomskneft produces oil and gas. Tomskneft is owned by Rosneft and Gazprom Neft on a parity basis.
