Rosneft and Schneider Electric agree to cooperate in energy efficiency enhancement
During the XX St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Rosneft and Schneider Electric signed a memorandum of cooperation.
As part of the agreements the parties plan to introduce a set of technical solutions at the production facilities of Rosneft aimed to reduce the energy consumption and the operating costs, increase the reliability of the equipment, and improve the quality of services. Also, cooperation between the companies implies joint work on localization program of the energy efficient technologies in Russia.
Development of cooperation with Schneider Electric – one of the leading experts in the production and use of electrical equipment for power engineering and infrastructure – will give additional momentum to the efficient operation of Rosneft enterprises and increase safety and reliability of the technological process at the production sites.
