The new Slavneft-YANOS construction project will receive support from the Yaroslavl Region Government

Rosneft, Gazprom Neft and the Government of the Yaroslavl Region concluded a Cooperation Agreement during the XXIII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum aimed to implement an investment project for the construction of a deep crude conversion complex at Slavneft-YANOS.

The document was signed by Rosneft Chief Executive Officer Igor Sechin, Chairman of the Management Board of Gazprom Neft Alexander Dyukov and Governor of the Yaroslavl Region Dmitri Mironov.

The project implementation will significantly improve the efficiency of the enterprise, also through the deeper crude conversion and the output of light oil products, it will increase tax revenues to the regional budget and create about 100 new highly skilled jobs.

Slavneft-YANOS, one of the largest oil refineries in Russia, is a part of Slavneft, a joint venture of Rosneft and Gazprom Neft. The refinery's throughput is over 15 mmt of oil per year. The refinery’s product range includes Euro 5 gasoline and diesel fuel, aviation kerosene and jet fuel, a wide range of oils, bitumen, paraffin wax products, aromatic hydrocarbons, liquefied gases and fuel oil.
