Igor Sechin and Alexey Dyumin Hold Business Meeting
Igor Sechin, Chief Executive Officer of PJSC Rosneft Oil Company, and Alexey Dyumin, Governor of the Tula Region, discussed the implementation of the existing cooperation agreement and agreed to expand cooperation between the Company and the region.
Tula is an important industrial centre in the Russian Federation. Rosneft supplies petroleum-based products to enterprises in the Tula region and is also developing a network of filling stations in the region.
The Company has been sponsoring Arsenal football club for a number of years. It has been decided to increase the level of support for the team for the new 2023-2024 season. Rosneft will be Arsenal’s general partner.
As part of the implementation of the co-operation agreement, there are plans for increased interaction with Tula producers. As part of the import substitution programme, Rosneft is seeking to diversify supplies and increase the participation of Russian producers in supplying its enterprises.
In addition, under the agreement, the parties will ensure the implementation of highly efficient projects, as well as initiatives aimed at reducing the negative impact on the environment and the rational use of natural resources. Rosneft and the regional government are also strengthening cooperation in energy saving and efficiency, modernisation and construction of the infrastructure of the petroleum products supply network.
The parties intend to continue their effective cooperation in the field of import substitution of lubricants and special liquids in the industrial and transport sectors.
