Rosneft and Rostov Region Sign Cooperation Agreement

Rosneft President and Chairman of the Management Board Igor Sechin and Governor of Rostov Region Vasily Golubev have signed Cooperation Agreement aimed at the development of the region’s industrial and investment potential as well as implementation of social projects in its territory.

The key focus of the Agreement is developing the Rostov Region’s fuel infrastructure, particularly by means of creating multifunctional en-route facilities and developing the infrastructure of the Rostov Universal Port transport and logistics unit. Moreover, the parties envisage the possibility of constructing a Rosneft fueling facility in the territory of the new Yuzhny airport complex and entering the aviation fuel market of Rostov Region by the Company.

The Agreement states that the Parties support projects on establishing hi-tech production facilities in the territory of Rostov Region, are interested in creating jobs and attracting investments to create a stable long-term tax base.
