Rosneft President Igor Sechin Visits Far East Federal District
An extraordinary meeting of Rosneft shareholders was held on 30 November in Khabarovsk. The agenda included:
- Distribution of Rosneft 2011 profits
- The payment of additional 2011 dividends
- Early termination of the powers of all members of the Rosneft Board of Directors
- Election of the Rosneft Board of Directors
- Approval of related party transactions.
Igor Sechin, President and Chairman of the Management Board at Rosneft, chaired the meeting and gave a presentation on the first two items on the agenda.
As part of his working trip to the Far East Federal District, Igor Sechin held a working meeting with Khabarovsk Region Governor Vyacheslav Shport and signed two agreements: A Cooperation Agreement to Develop Infrastructure in the Far East Federal Region with the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and a Cooperation Agreement to Supply Gas and Petroleum Products to energy facilities in the Far East Federal District with RAO Energy Systems of the East.
Mr Sechin visited Rosneft’s subsidiary RN-Komsomolsk Refinery in Komsomolsk on Amur and personally inspected production facilities there. The Rosneft President checked the refinery’s compliance with environmental standards, including efforts to eliminate the cause of the smell of secondary refinery processes in the air.
The cooperation agreement to develop infrastructure in the Far East Federal District of Russia, tackle economic and social challenges in the region and improve the investment climate was signed with Viktor Ishayev, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far East Federal District and Minister for Development of the Far East.
The cooperation agreement to supply gas and petroleum products to energy facilities in the Far East Federal District was signed with Evgeny Dod, Chairman of the Management Board at RusHydro and Chairman of the Board of Directors at RAO Energy Systems of the East.
