Igor Sechin meets with the First Vice Premier of the State Council of China
Igor Sechin, the Chief Executive Officer of Rosneft Oil Company and the Executive Secretary of the Presidential Commission for Strategic Development of the Fuel and Energy Sector and Environmental Security, held a meeting with the First Vice Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Han Zheng.
The meeting featured an expanded format. Head of the Ministry of Natural Resources Dmitry Kobylkin, Russian Ambassador to China Andrey Denisov, Deputy Minister for Economic Development Sergey Gorkov, Chairman of the Board of Inter RAO PJSC Boris Kovalchuk, Chairman of the Management Board of Gazprombank JSC Andrey Akimov, President of Neftegazholding JSC Eduard Khudainatov participated in the meeting on the Russian side. On the Chinese side, the meeting was attended by Chairman of the Board of CNPC Wang Yilin, Deputy Secretary General of the State Council of China Ding Xuedong, Director of the National Energy Administration of China Zhang Jianhua, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of China Le Yucheng, Vice Minister of the National Development and Reform Commission Lian Weiliang.
The parties discussed development of their cooperation in energy, joint projects expansion, creation of a positive investment climate. The attendees noted that the cooperation between Russian and Chinese energy enterprises is of strategic and integrated nature and develops progressively.
