Company strives to achieve global leadership in the field of ensuring accident-free operations, safe working conditions for employees, maintaining the health of the population living in the areas of the Company's operations, as well as minimizing the environmental impact.

LEADERSHIP IN LABOR SAFETY
Coordination of health and safety activities is carried out at the level of a permanent coordinating body — the Health, Safety and Environment Committee, which includes top managers and representatives of the Inter-regional Trade Union Organization.
The health and safety activities results are constantly reviewed by the Rosneft Board of Directors' Strategy and Sustainable Development Committee, as well as at the level of the Company's management body — the Rosneft Board of Directors.
INTERACTION WITH SUPPLIERS AND CONTRACTORS
Systemic approach to interaction with suppliers and contractors:
- spreading out the commitments, common principles and corporate requirements in industrial and occupational safety;
- conducting regular behavioral safety audits, monitoring the technology of performing work on site in accordance with the safety requirements.
Since the beginning of the Rosneft-2022 Strategy implementation the expenditures on industrial and occupational safety have amounted to about 160 billion rubles.
