Professional Standards

Development of Professional Standards in Rosneft

A professional standard is a characteristic of the qualification required for an employee to perform a certain type of professional activity, including the performance of a certain job function (Article 195.1 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation).

Professional standards are the key element of the national qualification system and are designed to ensure the interaction between the labour and vocational education sectors.   

Rosneft organized the development (updating) of professional standards for the essential types of professional activities in the oil and gas industry.

The Company's Group Subsidiary – Private Institution of Additional Professional Education - Center of Professional Qualifications of Oil Company Rosneft Nefteyugansk Corporate Institute was engaged as the Contractor for development (updating) of professional standards (hereinafter – the Nefteyugansk Corporate Institute).
